Support 2023 Ambassadors

Updated: Sep 17, 2023

Each year, the Miss Earth USA organization partners with the B4ACUSA "Beauties for a Cause" nonprofit 501(C)3 foundation through ambassador fundraising campaigns. This dedicated funding allows the foundation to in turn provide these young women with scholarships, grants, special event sponsorship, the annual mission trip and charitable projects throughout the year.

The Miss Earth USA organization focuses on environmental community impact, empowerment projects for women and girls, as well as the Still She Rose mental health initiative.

This year, the ambassador campaign platform is hosted through SpotFund. All charitable gifts are 100% tax deductible and contribute directly to the nonprofit 501(C)3 entity the B4ACUSA Foundation "Beauties for a Cause."

SUPPORT YOUR AMBASSADOR

POLICIES

  • The annual giving campaign benefits Miss Earth USA’s official 501c3 organization (B4AC USA) - a not for profit entity registered in the state of Virginia.

  • The giving campaign does not affect overall scoring; however, any delegate who does NOT reach the minimum fund raising requirements will be ineligible to receive awards or become a finalist.

  • Spotfund makes all contributions directly to the nonprofit. The donor receives an email receipt. The fundraiser receives an email notification of the gift. The donor has the option to remain anonymous.

  • The following incentive levels are awarded in association with the 2024 national pageant activities.

  • First $50 raised allows Garbo Grabber to ship the delegate their sponsored volunteer cleanup kit!

  • Minimum fundraising requirement for Miss/Teen delegates is $350 and Junior delegates is $250 by December 15. These funds help provide on site activities during the national pageant including a beachfront cleanup and sisterhood activities.

  • "Mission Project" - All Miss/Teen delegates who raise at least $650 by December 15 will be invited to participate in the annual mission trip, including shared lodging, to be scheduled in summer 2024. Airfare / travel is the responsibility of the delegate. Attendees will aid various projects including beach cleanup, wildlife preservation and climate emergency restoration. The MISS division mission is planned for Puerto Rico and the TEEN division mission is on the mainland, location to be determined. Currently, we are unable to support a Junior division mission activity.

  • "Beauties for a Cause Scholarship Winner" - All Miss & Teen delegates who raise at least $850 and Junior delegates who raise at least $500 by December 26 will be considered for a scholarship supporting her community efforts. This also includes a ticket to the December 30th charity gala, where the delegate competes in the runway competition. That’s right, you can continue to fundraise via Spotfund to qualify for the runway competition and the scholarship through December 26.

  • "Charitable Giving Winner" - The overall highest fund raiser in each division as of December 26 will advance to the Miss/Teen TOP 20 and Junior divisions TOP 10 regardless of judges scoring. If the divisional winner of charitable giving receives a judge’s score high enough to advance, the next highest charitable giving fund raiser who did not pre-rank by the judges will be included in the finals.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  • Scholarship consideration is based on the delegate's submission for Think Global Act Local, social media posts through the national pageant, and any official statements made during the pageant such as her judges introduction and media interview.

  • Scholarship is awarded within 6 weeks following the pageant and requires winning delegate submit a written statement of appreciation.

  • Scholarship amounts ($500-$1,500) are based on a percentage of total funds raised and will be announced closer to the national pageant. In years past, we have provided one (1) grand prize scholarship of $1,500 and one (1) divisional scholarship at $500.

  • Scholarship finalists receive a complimentary gala ticket where they walk in the runway competition and are honored on stage. Finalist guest tickets must be purchased.
