Introducing We Clean Trails Partnership

Updated: Jun 28, 2022

The B4ACUSA Foundation welcomes newly appointed Volunteer Coordinator Marisa Paige Butler, overseeing volunteer opportunities and specifically leading a national partnership with We Clean Trails.

Marisa started We Clean Trails in 2020 in San Diego, with the goal to unite local hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to keep the area beautiful and clean for the public to enjoy. In 2021, Marisa became Beauties for a Cause national ambassador and dedicated her year of service to expand We Clean Trails to weekly clean ups, collecting thousands of pounds of debris and trash and gaining national attention.

With the goal to expand the initiative to new city and state chapters around the United States, Marisa will now lead the initiative under the B4ACUSA 501(C)3 organization.

Marisa said, "We Clean Trails is a grassroots community cleanup effort that strives to reduce the amount of litter and debris in our environment through cleanup events and leave no trace education. WCT is excited to partner with Beauties For A Cause due to their commitment to supporting environmental projects and female activists."

Together, Marisa believes the reach of the B4ACUSA Foundation will facilitate the introduction of this project to other cities and towns across the United States while simultaneously providing leadership opportunities for environmentalists.

Stay tuned for new chapter announcements and information on how to get more involved in the We Clean Trails initiative in your community.
