West Coast Mission Bound

Beauties for a Cause returns to San Diego!

In June 2022, a team of ambassadors will conduct the annual B4AC USA mission trip to assist the state of California.

This western United States region was selected for the second year in a row, due to ongoing damages caused by climate change, including severely rising temperatures, coastal and forest pollution, mistreatment of marine life, and devastating wildfires.

Volunteers will dedicate time to serve the Seal Society of San Diego along historical La Jolla beach, including presentation of a $500 cash contribution, thanks to supporters of the B4ACUSA charity gala held in January.

The group will participate in wildlife conservation efforts with the Audubon Society, San Diego Canyonlands and take a behind the scenes tour of the Safari Park San Diego.

Led by Marisa Paige Butler, reigning Miss Earth Air international titleholder and founder of We Clean Trails, volunteers will conduct community clean ups at Rose Creek and a beachfront location.

This event is made possible through clean up supplies donated by Garbo Grabber, the Clean Earth Project and We Clean Trails. Activities are coordinated by nonprofit director Ariel Sorensen.

VOLUNTEERS:

Left: Marisa Butler - California. Top row, L-R: Jessica Woodall - Georgia, Mikala Joly - Rhode Island. Bottom row, L-R: Maggie Lemay - New Hampshire, Rose Pidgorodetska - Kentucky.

All Beauties for a Cause USA mission trips and projects rely on the support of volunteers, corporate funding and individual contributions. Thank you to everyone who made it possible to serve the California community this summer!

If you would like to continue supporting these efforts and those in the future, we appreciate contributions at b4acusa.org/make-a-gift.
